Many years ago, I received a "4" on the U.S. History A/P exam and received six college credits for this. Here's what got me through the exam. 1. Be interested in the subject. 2. Purchase or borrow many A/P exams and study very hard. (Check libraries and bookstores.) 3. Be very confident that you will perform very well. Good luck. Working, MBA, CBM
I'm intersted in taking the AP in World History, scheduled for Monday, May 12, 2003. I'm using this link http://members.cox.net/jpharmon/world.html especially those therin labeled "DBQ's, FRQ's and Multiple Choice," plus one of the two published prep books. (I'm fairly well-versed in the subject, but I need refrshing of my knowledge stock). Relevent to point a made months ago in starting another thread, somewhere a teacher noted that with 21,000 exam takers, it was the largest total ever for an initial AP exam! A point made by me in thinking the subject would be a popular one, justfying a flexibly administered exam on the subject. --Orson
