An ad in a chiropractic trade publication is promoting M.S. and Ph.D. programs through American International University. Nope, not the one in London. The web site sports a New York address--a state that does not take kindly to unaccredited schools. The web site is silent on the accreditation issue.

After graduation, one may become a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (US)! Has the US become a monarchy?

Check this operation out at http://www.rcpsaiu.com

MDs, DOs, dentists, optometrists, psychologists, etc are welcome to enroll, as well as chiropractors.

Above this ad was one for the University of Health Sciences Antigua, which offers MD degrees via DL and local mentoring, for a wide range of health professionals ranging from Physician Assistants to Chiropractors. Those with DDS, OD, and other degrees, who always wanted an MD can obtain it here.

The program requires a one week residency. The rest of the work is done online and with clinical training at a local hospital. Or, if you prefer, you can find a board certified MD to serve as your mentor (they suggest your personal physician) and dispense with the need to do full time hospital rotations.

To their credit, the school provides contact information for alumni. I wonder how many (if any) obtained US medical licenses following this path?

    The web address is http://www.uhsa.ag

    Curious about the medical school

Hello, There seem to be some real alumni that graduated from this place. I wonder how they managed? I checked the Business courses which seem pretty elementary. I didn't see any graduate programs in business but e-mailed anyway. I wonder if anyone on the board has ever seen this place on their travels. Have a wonderful 2003. Hille
