Dear all, I want to post this for your reference. In prior messages, interest has been shown in DL graduate biology programs. As far as I can tell, many are biologically-related, both abroad (i.e. London's MSc Biodiversity Conservation) and domestic (MSc Entomology, North Dakota, I think?). Here's one from Saint Joseph's College in West Hardtford, CT that appears to focus on general biology (with emphasis on human physiology and cell biology, no ecology or systematics) and can be done via multimedia applications. Started in the fall of 2001, it's touted as the "nations premier online graduate biology degree in biology" by the school itself. Sample courses: Fall 2001: Genetics, Advanced Physiology Spring 2002: Endocrinology, Immunology Summer 2002: Biology Seminar (cell signaling/receptor theory) Fall 2002: Parasitology, Pharmacology Spring 2003: Toxicology, Special Topics (cancer biology) Here's a PDF description: http://ww2.sjc.edu/curriculum/bioweb/bio_online.pdf And an HTML page: http://ww2.sjc.edu/curriculum/bioweb/Distancelearning.htm I hope this is not redundant! John
Follow-up Spelling-checking myself...That should read "West Hartford, CT" not "Hardtford," very different. Also "nation's" not "nations." I suppose it's not rude to point our my own misspellings. Happy New Year! John
