On December 18, 2002 the First Circuit Court of the State of Hawaii entered a default judgment against Manhattan University, Inc. (a Hawaii corporation) and its principal Bill Chuck lee (of Vancouver).

Under the terms of the judgment, MU and Lee are enjoined from operating any degree granting institution in, from or under the color of Hawaii law and are also enjoined from owning or operating any other business from Hawaii. The judgment also directs the state's Business Registration Division to terminate the corporate existence, the mail-forwarding service to cease forwarding mail and any webhoster from providing services as well.

The defendants are also required to offer full restitution to any individual who enrolled in or made payment to MU and to pay civil penalties of $125,000 each.

Yip. Saw your name on the "last post" list. "Brunton's bagged another one," I thought. Keep up the good work.
