Re: Re: Call Centre Management Why are you rude? Call centers are of two types Inbound and Outbount. Inbound is what you guys make a call to the company. Outbound is the tele-marketing thing.I think you are referring to outbound here.
Try these links. It would appear at least in the UK & Australia, 'Call Centre Management' is serious enough that training programs have been established and serious enough that they have a professional association of their own. http://www2.callscan.com/solutions/training/trport.asp www.ccma.org.uk/Education/training.htm J.R(ic)
Re: Re: Re: Call Centre Management Rude! I like to think acutely observant. Rude is what I am to telemarketers and trust me, you can tell the difference.
On the serious side with a bit more digging which may no be applicable from where you are, I found one UK university that actually offers Post Graduate studies in this subject. The following link at least gives an overview of the course and its objectives. Cant say, apart from the CCMA, and private training whether there are other colleges/universities USA/Australia that offer diploma's or Degrees in this subject? Thought we could give you a start with the info provided. http://www.uclan.ac.uk/courses/factsheets/lbs/busdev/3210.pdf Good luck in your studies. J.R(ic)
