I looked at both schools. The programs seemed well rounded. In fact at one point they were both on my short list. Until I found Touro and Amberton.

However, AIU does offer an accelarate program.

Re: AIU VS REGIS UNIV? MBA PROGRAM

This is not as straight forward a question as you might think because the answer depends on what is important to you. Your situation is not exactly like anyone else's on this board, so you have to decide on which school to attend based on what you're looking for.

When I was searching for a DL MBA program, I had some personal requirements. I wanted a degree program that was 100% DL with no on-campus requirements. For others, spending a little time on campus is fine, even favorable. I was also concerned with academic reputation and out-of-pocket costs. My employer would not reimburse for books and associated expenses. But, some or all of these things might not be important to you. Only you know for sure.

With that said, consider making your own list of what's important in an MBA program. Then sort that list in order of priority. Something like:
    1) RA (of course)
    2) academic reputation
    3) cost
    4) minimal/no on-campus requirements
    5) cool sounding school name
    6) time until degree completion
    7) whatever, this is your list

Then you can compare schools on your own terms, rather than basing your decision on the promotional and marketing materials the schools send you.

If number five on this list is high on your personal list, then I'd go with Regis University. They've got a cool sounding name. ;)

Steve King has provided you with a great "list"
to use for comparing the various schools as per
    YOUR requirements.

Regis was also on my 'short list' before I decided
that Touro best suited my situation here. You can
search the archives and find where I posted the
    reasons/comparisons between the MBA offerings.

Higher cost, book expenses, and lack of a flexible
schedule were drawbacks for me. The "#1 knockout"
was when I was IN DENVER, and tried to go by Regis
and pickup information on their MBA program, I was
told that I had to call Florida(?) for that material ...

Needless to say, I have been well pleased with Touro.

    Comments:

    (+)
    Very good quality program
    Material arrives always on time
Always able to talk to real people to resolve issues
    Good instructors
If you are a proffesional, th program is designed so that you can use what you learn right away
    Fully online
No exams but a lot of work in terms of reading, presentations, homework, assignments

    (-)
    Kind of expensive material
