Dr Schwabe has been involved with adult education, change management and new technologies in business environments since 1986 as a trainer, consultant and business systems developer. He has designed, developed and delivered a wide range of materials and projects such as operations training in the U.S. Navy, change management and language courses for international companies, customer driven re-engineering projects and a variety of business courses from eRM (electronic relationship management) software training to internet strategy for the online customer loyalty program of an international airline. Oliver's Doctorate of Business Administration focused on Online Communities and Knowledge Management, his Master of Science focused on Organizational Development, Strategic Management and Business Reengineering. In the last three years he has worked as Manager for the eRM technology assimilation solutions international management consulting and systems integration company in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. During this period he worked as business analyst and project manager for clients such as Shell, American Cyanamid, Swissair, Lufthansa, Silicon Graphics, Deutsche Post, the German Stock Exchange and Roche Diagnostics overseeing implementation and web-enablement of customer service centers and international s ales force organizations. Oliver is currently Manager for Business Engineering at a German broadband cable corporation and ISP. He, is responsible for the development, standardization and consolidation of processes, business systems and workflow across the organization including numerous partner companies. Dr. Schwabe is engaged in research related to the ROI of information technology investments and a member of the Association for Information Systems and the Internet Society.
