Mo's Institute of Technology

As a Three Stooges fan I was very intrigued when I heard about Mo's Institute of Technology. Turns out that this was started by Frank Mo not Mo the Stooge. Mo's Institute seems to offer legitimate IT certification courses. But when I follow their online degree link, I find the following:

Maybe this is Mo the Stooge?

 

Moses Horowitz (a.k.a. Moe Howard) died in 1975. However, he was always ready for a good joke, and therefore would appreciate the Berne connection.

I imagine that starting up and building an academic institution can be a very challenging endeavor. In many ways it's similar to climbing a very steep hill. The easy way is down into the land of degree mills and the less than wonderful schools. The economic pressures are analogous to the steep incline, all pushing down. When the school is owned by someone with only a mind for profit it makes it that much more likely for the school to stumble and go down hill.

We've seen it countless times, an apparently serious effort that starts to stumble and things seem to go from bad to worse very quickly. Once a bad reputation is earned then it moves from difficult to impossible.
