I see that COSC offers 24 credits for a 40% score on the GRE. Excelsior only offers that many if you do much better.

Has anyone ever tried to send the GRE only to COSC and the transfer from COSC to Excelsior? I would think they would "get wise" to that at Excelsior.

Not "40 percent." The 40th percentile. There is a huge difference in concepts there. It would be wise to discern the difference before undertaking your task.

Do not count on getting more credits at COSC and then transferring them to Excelsior. Excelsior will not want COSC's transcript of them. Rather, they will expect one from the ETS, who administers the exam. They will base the credits awarded on that.

Of course if you aren't enrolled at either school, you could take the GRE and *then* decide which school to enroll in based on the result.
