I saw on a website that Penn State offers an online Masters in Adult Education and Training. Does anyone have any insight as to how marketable a degree of this nature is? I was thinking if you combined that with a certification in a technical area, it could be something of interest. Any inputs?

    Thanks

And if you combined those two with some solid work experience then you might be able to convince someone that:
    1. You know something about something and
    2. You could teach that thing to others.
Who knows, they might even pay you to do it!

Penn State has an outstanding reputation, and their online M.Ed. has very reasonable tuition (around $900 per 3-credit course last I checked).

Although the program is probably too new to say for sure (not many graduates), I would imagine such a degree would have great utility for a community college teacher/administrator or other organization that deals with older learners, such as prison outreach programs.
