New LaSalle University established in Louisiana

In the course of researching the university president with the fake LaSalle degree (see posting in Off-Topic), I looked at the Louisiana corporate records, and, lo and behold, there is a brand new LaSalle University, incorporated a few months ago as a "Distance Learning University," by Kayco L.L.C. (of which there is no record in Louisiana). Located at 5 Riverbend Lane, Covington, LA 70433, and I wonder what on earth is going on here.

 

John.B, I read your new thread on LaSalle, and went straight to a search on google, When clicking the old button on Lasalle in Loisianna, up came 'Lacrosse'

If you look at www.lasalleuniversity.net you now get Omega University.

 

Browsing a little more, I see that www.lasalleonline.net gives a site for an online Master's program in Spain.

 

Gert, these guys are good, and apparently wont go away.

For the Spain link which is totally in Spanish, I could'nt get past the first page without a password.

The Omega university, is typical of a Diploma Mill, I think?

The interseting thing about Omega on their front page, is that they short form Omega with the letters...'OU'..whatever next?

Louisiana. It was a joke. See, the original Lousiana version was already bad and....oh, never mind. It's said that explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog. You figure it out, but the frog dies in the process. (Insert smiley here.)
