    A doctorate at Empresarial cost $16,400, with a posible grant reduction of $4000.

    It is advisable to ask whether they are authorized to grant doctoral degrees. The private school accreditation in Costa Rica is very specific about what degrees are "accredited". CONESUP may just look the other way when schools are offering degrees to individuals outside of Costa Rica.

    Empresarial is the old University of San Jose spin off which had a couple of reincarnations since parting company with USJ. One was UNICOR. Empresarial means Entrepreneur by the way.
