DETC list the IMC http://www.i-m-c.org as an accredited institution offering the whole gamut of Degrees and Membership all in one, in the field of Management & Marketing.

There is a link on their site and on DETC to the 'University of action learning at Boulder'. http://www.u-a-l.org. They also claim recognition and affiliation in Europe, Asia and Australia.

When you visit IMC site it must be one of the most detailed threads in history, and to find out what they do and how they do it simply got too me. The easiest way around was from the main page go straight to 'Brochures', this takes you to all questions related to degrees and prices.

The quickest bit of info was at http://www.i-m-c.org/Site2000Content/104408.PDF

The question to the board; does anyone know of them, experiences, quality etc?

Maybe Dr. Bernard Leeman and his posting on the ABE should take a look at them and get some ideas.

The IMC claim accreditation, offering certifIcate to Doctorates, reasonably priced?

One of the mysteries of this world is how the DETC, which cannot accredit schools offering the Ph.D., can accredit IMC, which does offer the Ph.D. (There are at least 3 other DETC schools that have offered doctorates, as well.)

There is a recent thread on the fact of the University of Action Learning getting into difficulties in Australia.

DETC once accredited the Canadian School of Management, then canceled the accreditation (I hoped, but did not know, that it had something to do with their affiliation with the very odd Northland Open University), but then DETC reinstated it after IMC bought CSM.

My posthumous edition will tell what happened when a reporter from Extra (the television tabloid news show) went into CSM with a hidden camera, and attempted to buy a diploma. To the best of my knowledge, Extra never aired that segment, but I read a transcript.
