    I have a question.
I see a lot of schools listed on the accredited members page of AOAEX http://www.aoaex.org/ful_acc_mem.html and some similar accreditation agencies not recognized under GAAP.
It seems like most of the listed schools are accredited by recognized accreditation agency.
I do not understand what this is.
    Are they really accredited members?
In other word, the degree granted by the listed schools can possibly be accepted by other schools also listed on the same accreditation agency.
    Is that correct?

I will appreciate if you answer my questions.

    They are listed there because:

    a) They do not know or
    b) They do know, but do not care

...and it is b) which makes these kinds of things flourish.

    Cheers,

    George

  4. From an online lesson page from Dakota State University:
"Trinity has set up its own accrediting agency, www.aoaex.org. Many of the institutions it lists on its accrediting page are valid institutions and many are fighting to get their names off the list. Dakota State had been on the list with several other South Dakota institutions but we finally have our names removed from the list."
