Hello, My daughter will shortly have tuition re-imbursement. Has anyone found any wiggle room with AIU about accepting RA graduate credits in transfer? Hille
Not sure what you mean by 'wiggle room', but I have very strong connections with AIU and am happy to assist in any credit transfer process. Pls send me a private message. Cheers, George
Wiggle Room As a current student with AIU I found the introductory phase simple to follow and well explained compared to past institutions. AIU is accredited by the Southern States and based in Atlanta. They have a three phase review process of all transcripts and portfolio. I had a total of 3 classes rejected due to age rightly so since my CIS classes were over 10 years old. They did accept others from the military and Strayer College. I can say, if it is not RA. The answer will be NO WAY!! Thank God all of mine were. I could not reply regarding DETC.
Hi Hille - I know that they are open to accepting credits from DoE recognized accreditors so assuming your daughter's non-RA credits are not Non-A credits there is a chance. Perhaps if you show them Dan Carneval's article in today's Chronicle about credit transfer issues you will have more success. Good luck! Mary
Graduate credit-AIU Good Morning, Sorry I neglected to say this was graduate credit. So far she has found US schools that will accept 6. AIU will not accept any. If her employer will accept foreign schools for tuition re-imbursement it won't be an issue. Thanks for the thoughts. Hille
Hille, If she isn't set on AIU, there was a discussion earlier on US grad programs that would allow more than 6 credits to transfer. I would do a search for you but no time. Good luck. Tony
