    Dear friends.

I have a question regarding the final transcripts of

    *Charter Oak
    *Excelsior
    *Thomas Edison

Which of these three does provide letter grades, and which not? (I think I´ve read that TESC does not, is that right?)

Besides, which of these three does explicitly list the institutions / the sources from where you have earned the credits, and which not?

e.g.: would you find thinks like this on your transcript:

    Introduction into Marketing: B-
    (University of Florida)

    Spanish I: C
    (CLEP)

    Economics I: A
    (DANTES)

    Mathematics/Calculus: B-
    (Penn State University/Distance Learning)

(I guess you know what I mean!?)

    THANKS A LOT,

    master

(who actually would not want the sources of the credits to be presented on the transcripts - that´s why I ask)

I can speak for the other two schools, but Excelsior College prints its final transcript as follows:

Broward Community College <---- prints school transfered from
    ENC1101 3 Sem Hrs B <---- course, credit, & grade

Enlisted Rate or MOS credit <---- prints ACE evaluated stuff

I level avionics tech helicopters <--- whatever it is ace evaluated
AC circuits 2 Sem Hrs P <---- P for pass
DC circuits 2 Sem Hrs P
Basic electronics lab 3 Sem Hrs P

CLEP Tests <---- if you have cleps

Itro to Psychology 3 Sem Hrs A

    {some CLEPS have letter grades, some don't}

There is no GPA printed on transcript, however, but you can figure out the GPA your self since the grades are on there.
    Hope this helps!

    Best Regards,

    Bill

COSC does not put GPA/QPR on transcript. Credits and Letter grades.

    Hi friends.

    Thanks for your answers,
but actually, I don´t care too much about the GPA -
it´s just important for me that the sources of credit (the universities where your earned the credits) are NOT shown on the transcripts.

As wfready said, Excelsior DOES quote the sources.

What about COSC and TESC ?

    greetings,
    master

    COSC does report the sources.
    Clep Title # Grade

    UCONN
    PSYCH 101 C 3 Credits

    Western CT
    MATH 132 B+ 3 Credits

    Etc.

  6. TESC does. And looking through the transcripts for the 6 other RA institutions I earned credit from, four either attribute transfer credits to a particular institution or at least show the last (or more) insititution attended. One exception is a local community college, which simply lists the credit as "transfer." The other transcript doesn't have any transferred credit on it-- it was my first post-secondary school.

Out of curiosity, why are you trying to "mask" the source of the credit?

@ Dennis: simply because it wouldn´t look good at all to a European employer to see SEVERAL different universities on your transcripts (it is so, believe me).
