State of Hawaii Sues Manhattan Univ

The State of Hawaii, by its Office of Consumer Protection, filed suit today against Manhattan University Inc. (a Hawaii corporation) and its principal, Bill Chuck Lee of Vancouver, Canada. The suit alleges that the defendants violated numerous provisions of Hawaii's Unaccredited Degree Granting Institutions Law (Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 446E). The complaint seeks injunctive relief, restitution, civil penalties and other equitable relief.
