anyone taken COSC's Contemporary Math course?

    This one's for my mom. 58 and hasn't attempted math in 40 years and just enrolled in COSC to finally finish her degree, bless her heart :)
    The admissions coordinator suggested she take this course bcuz it apparently gears toward ppl. who need more than just a "brushing-up". So if anyone's taken this, let us know. Thx!
