    What is the tuition?
Tuition is based on degree level:

    Bachelor:
    $350 + $50 fees

    Masters:
    $500 + $65 fees

Is there a payment plan option?
We prefer you pay all tuition and fees at once but there is a payment plan option for those who cannot do that. Students will not recieve their graduation package untill all fees have been paid.. There is a $50 fee for using the payment plan. If you fail to make a payment on your plan on time you forfeit all prior payments and you will not receive your graduation package. Contact the register for more information on payment plans

    Where is Lexington University located?
Lexington University is a Dominican University. All Students, including international enrollees, will coordinate enrollment and communications through the registrars office. A toll-free number is available at all times.

Is there a residence requirement to attend Lexington?
Lexington University offers one of the finest graduation programs of its kind. Internet technology coupled with state of the art communications programs; make this offering the strongest in its field. Students complete their programs in a web-based environment. Lexington’s virtual university program makes it such that no residency requirement is necessary for students to complete their program of study. What if someone wants to verify my degree?
At Lexington University, we understand that many employers or other institutions require transcript and degree verification.
That's why Lexington University supplies graduates with a transcript that includes University contact information. Lexington University also provides degree verification through the Office of the Registrar via a toll-free phone number. Written requests for transcripts or degree verification must be accompanied by the students signature (required by federal law). A verification request form is included in your graduation package.

Can my degree be transferred to a graduate program at another institution?
Every school is different and we cannot guarantee your credit from Lexington University will transfer completely or at all. However, if you obtained your Bachelors degree from Lexington University, for example, and want to use it as the basis for a Masters through Lexington University, of course we will do that.

Can you send me a sample of a transcript and/or degree?
At your request an electronic sample transcript and degree, in JPG format, will be e-mailed to you. It will not be exact for obvious reasons. All of our degrees, are embossed with the gold seal of the University, printed on parchment paper, and are suitable for framing.

What is the transcript request fee?
There is a $75 fee for each official transcript. This covers mailing and administrative fees. As per Federal Law the signature of the student or alumni whose records are being requested must authorize requests. You will receive a form in your graduation packet in case you ever need to request transcripts.

    Is there an alumni association?
There is an alumni association for Lexington University graduates. Please check out our alumni page.

How long does it take to get a degree?
It is hard to say exactly how long it could take to obtain your graduation package and/or degree. It will depend on the information you supply with your application and the review conducted by the Board of Regents. Typical requests can be completed within 7 business days. However, expedited service can be arranged, under special circumstances, for an additional fee of $250.00.
Simply complete the online information request form & the registrar will coordinate the evaluation and let you know in an email if you qualify. If you do then you can send your payment (electronically using paypal or by money order) and once full payment is received your graduation package will be sent to you. Allow 2 weeks for standard delivery. Expedited delivery can get your package there next day if necessary but does require additional shipping fees.

Do you have a verification service?
Lexington University offers unlimited degree verification for third party requestors, at a one-time cost of $175.00. Of course, each request for verification must be accompanied by the graduating student's written authorization.

Wow!! That sounds like a deal compared to the tuition I am paying. Or, as Dr. Bear would say, number 666.

  4. Which Lexington? As pointed out here previously, there are at least two Lexingtons (none of them acceptable). Lexington University affiliated with Templeton University. And Lexington University affiliated with Columbus University and Kwan Tai Foundation.

This one claims to be in Dominica: perhaps it's a third?

  5. Looking at the Templeton-derived Lexington, I was delighted to see that they have a building IDENTICAL to one at Lee University in Tennessee.

Look at: Lee University and Lexington.

The students even dress and walk the same...

Another picture at the Lexington site has a student wearing a "Saints Lacrosse" shirt. I haven't tracked that down yet. Any college lacrosse fans here?

    Limestone College Saints.
Lee College Flames & Lady Flames.

  7. It's Limestone College (compare with Lexington).

They really should be more careful about covering their tracks when they steal material from legitimate schools. These guys will give the degree mill industry a bad name.

By an amazing coincidence, Alexandria University has a building identical to Memorial Residence Hall at Coker College in South Carolina.

  10. They also ripped off Coker for Vernell, as discussed in this old thread: Vernell University.

    lotsa lexes, also copycatting

Ah, so we're dealing with yet another Lexington University!

Here's the one which has that wonderful disclaimer on its order page ("I further understand that The University offers no classes, no curriculum, no lectures, no staff or faculty, no literature, learning materials, testing, or thesis or dissertation review."):

    http://www.lexingtonuniversity.com/

About the apparent copying of impressive looking buildings across various campuses:

I had a pasta dish at a restaurant some years ago that I liked so much that I managed duplicate the recipe at home after a few tries, and serve the dish to my family every once in a while. Nothing wrong with that, though it IS copying something from elsewhere.

Perhaps the same thing is true of these universities you're describing? I recall seeing an apparent copy of Blenheim Palace (Winston Chuchill's birthplace in Oxfordshire) sited in the pastoral splendor of a Monrovian campus. (See the side show here: http://www.robertstownuniversity.ac/)

It is impressive that the lovely campus survived the ravages of the civil war without damage.

As a small remembrance of our dear departed DL colleague Gert ;) I have done a small amount of legwork on this unimportant topic. It seems there are a number of possibilities. There is a professional lacrosse team in New York called the Saints (who knew there was such a thing as professional lacrosse?) and there is a Saints Lacrosse Club somewhere in Missouri. Also, the lacrosse teams at both St. Lawrence University and Limestone College are known as the Saints. There are probably others but dinner was ready and, well, you know . . .
