I just downloaded a free PDF file which gives much more info than John Bear’s book.
Guys do not waste your hard-earned monies on books. Just download them for free at www.geteducated.com
I am not related to anybody who owns that site.
I made a mistake of buying the book from Amazon. I found this downloaded file more informative than John Bear’s book.

HEY JOHN can you PAY my MONEY BACK????

  2. Actually, Rakshasha, I could use an extra copy for my reference library. If you'll email me your name and phone number, I'm sure we can work something out.

GetEducated.com does have some very good resources. So does John, so do other distance learning researchers and writers.

You can read a sample chapter of <O>Bears' Guide to the Best MBAs by Distance Learning</I> at http://www.degree.net/guides/mba_guide.html if you're in need of more free reading material.

Hello, I find it's great to have all guides around. Since I reside in New Jersey I also try to get copies of the surrounding county colleges distance learning options. This is an area that is changing faster then the books can keep up with. I also purchased the guide designed for the incarcerated which actually gave my daughter an idea for a paper. If you positively don't want your book why not kindly donate it to your local library. Our local library doesn't have a copy that circulates. Have a peaceful weekend. Hille

Rakshasa: HEY JOHN can you PAY my MONEY BACK????

John: Most reputable booksellers have a reasonable refund policy. If you try this and it fails, send me your name and address, and I'll gladly mail you the 58 cents that I earned when you bought that book.

Vicky Phillips has been doing a good job for many years with GetEducated and its predecessors.

I suppose I am the only one uninhibited enough to say this. Rakshasa, having several reference materials is good, they check each other. Your statement is asinine, and probably meant as such. I am no fan of groupthink, and I attack it when my tolerance is overfilled, but your statement is meant to incite a negative reaction (imo), please use more intelligence and grace if you are actually attempting to question something. Although, with the point you brought up, in it's transparency and lack of merit, you have made even less friends than if you were disagreeable yet reasonable.
