Bushey International University

Does anyone know anything about Bushey International University, near Watford, England?

 

It may be defunct; I didn't find much on Google beyond a reference to its campus being used for a summer English language training program and as the location for a couple of Avengers shows.

Bushey was apparently a branch campus of the United States International University, which is now part of Alliant International University in California. According to the information here, Bushey closed up shop in 1993.

Its a job by Anglo-European Study Tours for a English Language summer school held at the Bushey premises.

Isn't it?

 

The UK Running Track Directory, in its description of a mostly disused track on the Bushey grounds, includes this comment:

"The US International University was closed in 1993 and in Dec 1998 was owned by developers who were awaiting planning permission to convert the buildings into private housing. As of Mar 2000, there is no sign of any such development."

Whatever current use is being made of the facilities, it seems pretty clear that Bushey International University is defunct.
