Mountain State was until recently the College of West Virginia, a solid if a bit generic RA school.

One thing....the degree at Mountain State is actually Administration of Criminal Justice, which is a bit different than a pure CJ degree. It often doesn't matter, but best to find out before you enroll.

Hello, I had an opportunity to talk with the admission people when my husband was in the early stages of deciding on the second degree from TESC. At that time they had a policy of forgiveness for D grades. I don't know if you have any but if you own lower grades on your transcript I would pursue this process. All schools do not allow this and it will effect your graduate school options. Good Luck with your studies. Hille

Are you looking for a BA or an MA? I just happened to notice that UT Austin has a BA criminal justice program. I don't know the details but the school enjoys a really good reputation.
