I just re-enlisted in the Army Reserve for the educational benefits and I can't wait to take some FREE CLEP or DANTES exams. Any suggestions on some of the exams that are "easy" or require very little study. I have already passed English Comp, Analyzing and Inter. Lit, History 1500-1800, Intro to Soc., General Math, American Gov, and General Humanities. I plan to take the rest of the General Ed CLEPs but I am sure that they require some studying. Thanks.
Lawrie Miller, an author and member of this list, has the following website giving difficulty estimates of CLEP exams. http://geocities.com/ba_in_4_weeks/examdifficultytables.html Also, this site has pass rates of various tests that were gathered from military students only: http://geocities.com/ba_in_4_weeks/examdifficultytables.html Hope this gives you a place to start. Good Morning, I believe TESC charges the enlisted at a state rate and feel I read previously the armed services pay the tuition. If this is the case I would take some TECEPS along with the CLEPS for upper level credits. Have a great Thursday. Hille
