    I think Gert was trying to say that you are guilty of plagiarism because no attempt was made to attribute the source. You are also guilty of plagiarism if you try to make people believe that the piece posted above was written by you.

    To get more to the point, can the RAND PhD program be completed at a distance?

    No. Last time I checked out Rand's Ph.D. program, it was only offered on-campus in California. It is an excellent program for people interested in performing think tank, public policy, and consulting work. You get a good education for almost no cost while the Rand Corporation gets a highly qualified intern for the three years you're in school. Which is fine, if that's the kind of work you want to do.

    Unless their program has changed, I'm not sure why it's being brought up on this discussion board.
