    Hello Everyone,

I thought that members might be interested in an on-line MBA which is being offered by the University of North Alabama via
Columbia Southern Univerity. The website address which I received through the email was :

    www.columbiasouthern.edu/UNA

At $300 per credit, the program will cost about $9900 to complete. And the program is both RA and ACBSP. Not bad. It seems that Columbia Southern University is finally being accepted in the mainstream.

    Dear Mohammed,

I've just joined the forum and found a couple of threads by u. Would u help me in finding out if there is any ranking by any authority on online MBA programs as far as accredition is concerned?

I'm located in Dubai, UAE, so a non-resident and wanna start an online program in MBA, preferably w no on-campus requirement.

    BR..Mahdi:)

    Hi Mahdi,

I do not know of any authority that ranks on-line programs.
However, if you are keen on an american program you should
look out for a regionally accredited (RA) degree. There may be
several other universities that offer a fully on-line program like
Touro. The one which is mentioned here is a new one and appears to be a reasonable program to be considered. Other
members on this board will be able to help you out as well.

    Happy hunting!

Great link and info. Probably make a better choice than UofP for many due to the nature of the school and the professional and regional accreeditation of UNA.

    DL RA MBA

In bold letters, it says:It is almost like they are advertising that it is "regionally accredited" as much as the fact that it is an MBA. [IMG]

The term "regionally accredited" seems to have taken on greater significance in the marketing of colleges & universities within the last year. Public awareness of the significance of "RA" has grown dramatically. It is no longer an obscure term. [IMG]
