    aparently Excelsior College does not grant credit for SAT II exams;
    does anyone?

    Or have these not been ACE evaluated? If not, does anyome know why not? (These are rather similar to CLEPs, as well as
    CollegeBoard/ETS/etc. sponsored...so?)

    I uderstand that SAT exams are a means of verifying quality of high school learning for use by universities as one way of grading applicants.

    Specifically...

    Specifically, the SAT II is another subject-based achievement test

    "An Achievement Test by any other name...
    The SAT II is a set of more than 20 different tests focusing on specific disciplines such as English, History and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Foreign Languages. Each Subject Test lasts one hour and consists entirely of multiple-choice questions, except for the Writing Test, which has a 20-minute essay section in addition to a 40-minute multiple-choice section."(Collegeboard.org)

    Like the AP and CLEP, it is sponsored by the College Board. Unlike the AP, there is no written section, save "Writing Test," and unlike the AP--offered only in May--the SAT II is offered about half the months of the year. And finally, like these, it scale-scored.

    One place that...

    One place that grants credit for the SAT II is Jones International
    university. Among the requirements for their Int'l business degree is a foreign language, Over half-a-dozen languages tested via the SAT II are granted 3 credits toward this.

    BT no one else?
