Sorry for the weird technical problems today. We are in the process of moving degreeinfo to a different server (same ISP, just a more powerful server) because the site traffic and usage is overtaxing the server it's currently on. Unfortunately, there were some technical glitches that made the move less than seamless... the move started, but the site wasn't yet active on the new server, so it started randomly serving other sites that were on the same IP address... personally, I saw at least three different sites, which is great if you're into buffalo meat, small-town political causes, or technical details on web servers, but not if you're looking for info on distance learning. Anyway, we're back where we started, all is working properly, and we'll complete the move once we get all of the issues resolved on the new server. I know that everyone's a little sensitive because of the DoS attacks that happened before, but this was a simple - albeit strange - technical glitch.
Thanks for... Thanks for the notice, Chip. If it means anything to you, there were probs elsewhere in online education yesterday, too--I couldn't raise ISSS-Univ of London. Carry on. --Orson
