The State of Hawaii, by its Office of Consumer Protection, filed suit today against ANU Distance Learning, Inc., a Hawaii corporation dba American National University and its principals Lingxian Zhang and Bill R. Booth (believed to be California residents). The suit alleges that the defendants violated various provisions of Hawaii's Unaccredited Degree Granting Institutions Law (Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 446E) and seeks injunctive relief, restitution, civil penalties and other equitable relief. This American National University is not to be confused with the American National University owned and operated by Henry Yu of California.

  2. I noticed today that ANU's website says only "Coming soon"

Earlier this summer it had several pages of info, including, if memory serves, a faculty list that included Maxine Asher.
