I love these guys who say everything's broken - and that leaves us NOTHING. But India and China will fix it, because they're smarter than the dumb North Americans who buy their (Gladwell et al.) books. The Community College where I'm sitting is full of Indian students - I'd say over half. Quite a few Chinese also. By Canadian law, they're all paying close to three times the domestic tuition rate to attend. We must be doing something right - or why would they want to study here, at (comparatively) great expense? J.
