Capella's competency-based, graduate psychology and undergraduate and graduate nursing programs make them stand out. Most competency-based programs are in IT and business. I get so sick of seeing new business administration programs. I know it's a popular major, but I'm happy to see schools go after niche markets in the competency-based arena. There is way too much competition among business programs. These are some other competency-based programs that aren't business or IT-related: Hodges University - MA in Visual Communication Hodges University - MPA (sort of business-related, but no one else is offering a self-paced MPA) Patten University - various psychology and criminal justice programs at the undergraduate level University of Wisconsin - RN to BSN University of Wisconsin - Diagnostic Imaging Degree Completion Program Walden University - MS in Early Childhood Studies Northern Arizona University - BA in Liberal Arts Northern Arizona University - RN to BSN College for America/Southern New Hampshire University - BA in Communications
