Dogs and cats living together . . . mass hysteria! https://www.insidehighered.com/blogs/technology-and-learning/online-learning-and-institutional-resilience
Look up in the sky. It's a bird. It's a plane. Oh crap, it's an asteroid. And it's passing real close tomorrow. Any closer and it would shut down some schools.
Aside from asteroids, what higher education, and all education, needs is some open competition. Some creative destruction as opposed to the destruction of asteroids or education experts.
Well, in some cases it really would be helpful for surviving a disaster, e.g., schools in New Orleans after Katrina. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
