Unique Partnership Between University of Phoenix & SC State

South Carolina State has partnered with UoP to offer online courses to students who enrolled between 2010 and 2015, but the left the school prior to earning a degree.

SC State is offering incentives for this program which include:

1) Waiving the admissions fee

2) Offering discounts of 50% on UoP courses

3) Allowing up to 27 credits to transfer in.

I like this initiative particularly at a time where many HBCU's have been struggling to keep their doors open and when the majority of HBCU's have graduation rates below the national average.

And you have to change with the times so this should be worth a try. APUS might be a good partner for some HBCUs.
