I found several errors in the different study guides I used. I believe that there were errors also in the actual tests, and am certain that the CLEP Spanish test I took contained one question where no answer was correct. Since this error was funny to me (I thought right away that the people involved MUST have been from California) and is the easiest one to check, it is the one I will present to the forum, but it was certainly not the only one. In the College Board CLEP Official Study Guide 2002 Edition Social Sciences and History sample test questions question 15, page 262 The area of the African continent is approximately (a) half the area of western Europe (b)the same as the area of the United States east of the Mississippi River (c)two times the area of California (d)three times the area of the continental United States (e)four times the area of South America ANSWER KEY (page 268) question 15. answer "C" These are the people and institutions grading what we know. (I use plural because the tiny DANTES study guides with only about a dozen practice questions each also had mistakes.) I am sharing this with the forum now because I am going through my notes and doing some computer cleaning and am about to delete this note. Guillermo Hernandez
Does this count...? NOtT on the order of your example, but erronious nontheless, is the current ECE Ethics sample exam outline! It goes I. A., B, B, D. (Has anyone brought this to their attention?) --Orson
