Interesting read, but I'm not quite sure if I agree with the rationale for suggesting these changes and initiatives. The article emphasizes that 10 other countries have passed the U.S. in post-secondary degree/certificate per-capita attainment, but this isn't exactly an apples to apples way of comparing/arguing the point. Different domestic priorities and sector needs will dictate skills and education necessary (not necessarily post-secondary degrees) which may not translate to the U.S. having to "keep pace" or "outpace" these other countries.
