Just checking if anyone has experience of any online programs that accept someone with a 2.2 GPA. looking to major in psychology.

the 2.2 gpa (conversion) was calculated via WES.ORG because the modules were done with an Australian university.

I'm trying to guide a friend who wants to finish his degree with a US college. his intention was to study on campus, but I told him to consider finding something online, and later on proceed to move on campus.

I would suggest that your friend take a couple of courses, ace them, and then in their application state that these new grades are actually more representative of their work at this point in their lives. You might even work it so that you take the courses at the same school that you eventually want to matriculate, making the whole thing fairly seamless.

The California State Universities are relatively open-admissions. I believe that the system-wide requirement for transfer applicants is at least a 2.0 GPA. That may differ a bit from campus to campus (Cal Poly SLO is probably more selective) and from program to program.

If your friend wants to study on campus, I wouldn't try to argue him out of it. DL isn't always the best choice for everyone and on-campus study offers things that DL might not, such as student social life, better networking opportunities, hands-on laboratory and practical experiences and a better opportunity to get to know professors.

Most for-profit schools will accept anyone so long as you pay. Many are expensive, but some aren't too bad. If looking into getting a masters degree, you may still qualify. I'm attending one, and can't complain too much. Many are RA as well.
