are the top Asian schools in trouble? Asian universities are crumbling, despite high rankings - Business Insider
Double, double, toil and trouble - not. I don't see the trouble. I do see some good questioning of the rankings.
Well, I always view ranking as a guidelines for quality and to some extent, a form of marketing tools. As long as the college is reasonably well known in the country, it should be a good school. Due to the growth of BRICS, I have realized people starting to go to China for a gap year. The asian will always do the other way round, going to USA, UK and Australia for their education. Anyway, cultures are exchanged. Likewise, for myself starting from Singapore and in IT related field, I have studied both in India and Singapore, and have exchanges in Paris, along side DL certifications from western countries. The idea is to have some explosures and exchanges in Chindia and the west. Actually, all the colleges I have attended are reasonably good.
