Hello. I am looking at doing a Unisa degree here in the USA. Is there an organization here to apply through, or are you obliged to deal directly with UNISA? My initial investigation shows very narrow application windows and vague instructions. A relative in S.Africa has told me that UNISA was quite unhelpful when she called on my behalf.

On the other hand thousands of others have registered. I have a US degree and wanted to get another Bachelors degree.

    Cheers

My initial investigation shows standard application windows and precise instructions. If you telephone you'll get nothing and nowhere. You have to sign up for your student number and then follow the process. If you need assistance with any of it you can contact these folks

IACI offers UNISA university distance learning courses up to Doctoral

UNISA is so frustrating to deal with, it almost is not worth the trouble. Just paying them took up time. Faculty and administration were listless. While UNISA sounds like a good proposition and I am sure has some good instructors, they are impossible to deal with.

I signed up and got a student number. I also uploaded all requested documents onto their portal. Yesterday I got an email stating they are rejecting my admissions because they have not gotten any transcripts. Well I uploaded the darn thing as well as mailed. Additionally, I emailed it while attempting to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck with a response. Anyone with experience with Unisa I'd appreciate some advise.

I was attending another University but they are running me under with cost. I have 58 pages into a dissertation completed, I'd like to just get it done, was hoping Unisa was the best option because of the cost.

Thanks in advance for all suggestions.
