The article doesn't say anything about earning college credit. For that much, I'd rather take a course online at a community college.
These courses may not serve to build credits toward a degree but if, for example, you were trying to put yourself over the hump in your bid for a grad admission, a Harvard cert might go a lot further than those CC credits.
