A friend who has BS and MBA from (DETC) DEAC accredited university (he used DANTES) applied for a job with major hightech company and passed all the interviews. The hiring manager was exited to bring him on board but
during the background check when he was to provide the diploma he was told that requirement for the position is RA degree or internationally equivalent.
He didn't get the job. HR insisted on RA degree as this is an official policy of the company. Hiring manager and the department VP tried but couldn't bring him on board.
Couple of months later he got a job with another major company.
But now he is trying to get an RA degree.
What is the fastest rout for him?

One option is transferring credits to one of RA universities that accept NA credit and complete 30 or more credits.

Are there better or faster choices for him?

What field is his NA degree, and is he looking for a second Bachelor's, or a Master's program?

The fastest route would be to earn a second Masters from a school that accepts NA degrees for graduate admission.

I'm not a fan of degree duplication (i.e. earning a second MBA). So I would suggest earning maybe an MSM or an MS in a slightly different field. For example, if you have an MBA in Finance and work as a financial analyst then an MS in Finance might not add much value to your resume. But an MS in Applied Economics could, depending upon your current and future career goals. An MS in Business Information Systems could do the same with the same caveat.

Ashford and California Southern would be two schools that immediately come to mind for this. The latter has an MSL and an MS in Conflict Resolution, for example, that could complement that MBA rather than attempt to replace it.

All of that is assuming that the RA Masters would be sufficient. If the company requires all degrees to be RA then they could reject him because his undergrad was still NA. But my feeling is that for the majority of the situations one would encounter the RA Masters will help one to avoid any of these issues. If he felt so inclined afterward he could tack on a second BA.

For that I would recommend testing out of as much as possible and/or stacking up ACE recommended credits from a school like PF and then earning a degree from one of the Big Three.

Thanks for the replies and the suggestions.
I provided him a link to this site so he can read the replies and register if he wishes so.

His BS is technical, MBA in Management. His current position is Service Delivery Manager.
His office is relocating and he is waried that he may be asked to relocate. They do allow him part time telecommute.

    Thanks
