My Bulgarian is a little rusty but this seems to be a collective of degree programs from universities throughout Bulgaria. Maybe one of our polyglots can help us out with a translation. http://www.bvu-bg.eu/
Also, there's New Bulgarian University, which has some programs and English and some DL programs (although I did not find a nice neat list of DL programs on the site - I didn't look too hard) New Bulgarian University
I believe that may be because there isn't one - at least not a list of full degree programs, anyway. It appears that none are taught by distance, as we know it. Sure, there are some single degree-credit courses taught at the Plovdiv (and 2 other) satellite campuses, but... Here's the page on distance education. School of Distance, Online and Continuing Education - Schools - New Bulgarian University You might be able to study for a few big-name IT certifications that way - but not a complete degree - and you can get your IT certification closer to home. In an interesting coincidence, I just ran across someone at a university in Northern Virginia who has a PhD in Political Science from New Bulgarian University. Faculty & Staff | American College of Commerce and Technology
The Bulgarian Virtual School (the one with the site from last century) is not a school. It is more of an attempt to compile all of the DL programs offered in the country. New Bulgarian University is one of them ...and has a much better site
The faculty listing for ACCT is a potpourri of degrees from bad schools, including the entire Accounting faculty, save one, who claim their highest degree from the University of Northern Virginia (ACICS accreditation revoked, ordered closed in Virginia, moved to South Dakota), and another on the Business faculty who claims a Ph.D. from the University of North America, which is ACICS accredited, but doesn't have doctoral programs. Faculty & Staff | American College of Commerce and Technology
Pretty much. There are quite a few schools in Northern Virginia that no one who lives here have even heard of, which cater almost exclusively to F-1 students. ACCT is one of them.
Anymore feedback in the legitimacy of NBU? I gathered it is private and been around for a while, but is it a valid university?
