Webb Institute's main building is a movie star. The stately mansion appeared on the silver screen in the movie, Batman Forever, as Bruce Wayne's estate. It also appeared in the 1998 movie adaption of Great Expectations.
I wrote about Webb in Completely FREE Colleges. They only offer a single degree- bachelor's in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. They accept about 29% of applicants (SAT high 600's required as well as a fitness test!) they accept ZERO transfer credit, CLEP, or AP and waive 100% of tuition for 100% of admitted students. That said, on campus housing is not included, so you'll still need to pay $14,500 per year for that. Job placement is exceptional. Completion rate is excellent.
So sort of free, except for the fifty-eight thousand bucks in room and board? (It does look really cool, though.)
