My feelings exactly. I have always thought the only REAL reason for computers in the classroom is to teach computer related skills. Computer programming, or word processing for instance. Since research skills these days involve using the Internet, students should learn that. Videography? Yeah, better use a computer. Even the auto class should learn how computers are used in modern engines. But installing software so that a computer can teach math or reading instead of a teacher? I've always thought it was worse than a waste of time.
