ACCA and Epigrum an Oxford University affiliate is offering an accredited diploma for under $300. Which can then be turned into a degree from Oxford-Brookes University.

These classes just prepare you for ACCA exams, which cost extra (not THAT much though). Nevertheless, very cool. ACCA is one of the chartered accounting bodies in UK and is widely known.

ACCA is in over 181 countries in the world. The exam can be written anywhere. Anyway you don't have to do the ACCA designation to earned the Diploma and the Degree. Outside of North America the ACCA, may be the the most recognizable designation. ACCA and the CMA-us are now affiliates. I think that is compete with the CPA-CIMA affiliation.

 

This may be relevant to people who look beyond North America for employment. With an acca earned from the above courses one can earn an MSc in Accounting with only two courses for under $4.5k
