Fine programs but the out of state tuition is so high?
    This is very expansive.
Even if I needed to enroll it way pass the TA at my company.

3 unit class almost 3,000? this is crazy expansive.
ANd Cornel is like 6000 $$$ for 3 unit class.

Well 16. TIE: Texas Tech University (Whitacre)

    Cost per credit: $270

The online graduate engineering program at Texas Tech is over 23 years old, but the school's distance-learning technology isn't. Classes are recorded and delivered using state-of-the-art multimedia equipment, and all the technical support and software needed to connect is free. The degree is more affordable than most at just $270 per credit. OK this my employer will cover if I needed the MSc in Engineering.

hmm, surprise Stanford's online program is not there. I think I didn't see UCLA and University of Washington too.

Wonder how difficult is it to enter Columbia's online program.

UCLA is number one because in-state tuition cheaper than Columbia's CVN. I am wondering why UC-Berkley does not make the list.

i actually gave JHU a call about admissions into their CS Masters programs. the consultant over the phone actually told me it's not really competitive to enter the program. as long as you have a GPA of 3.0 and above for your last 60 credit hours and all the pre-req done, you'll get in... if you don't have the pre-req done, they offer some of them. you could even apply first, and spend the first sem doing the pre-req with them before starting modules for the masters program... heck, you don't even need LoR or GRE...

I think JHU lowered their requirement, I attempted to admit to its program in 2008. They told me that I need to submit GRE, 3 Letters of Recommendation, and etc.

the school i called was the school of professional engineering, and i only asked about the CS maters program.

the other schools i think still require the GRE/LoR etc etc.

Arts and Sciences still need them GRE and LoR

Oh! This division was not available back in the day, it seems more prestigious schools start creating their CASH COW programs.
