That's not surprising when so many faculty members don't know how to create a decent online course. And I hate to say this, but my job used to be to teach faculty members how to use technology better, and the majority of them weren't interested and couldn't be bothered to learn about it.
And, to pile on, there is little need for a full time, or tenured faculty if the online course is well written. jus' sayin'
