Canadian University Undergraduate Diploma Haven't heard of such thing. Which university? Maybe I can think of one. Dental hygiene - taught at a school of dentistry but not awarded a degree. Probably 60 credits would equate to an associates degree - 120 to a bachelors. More details needed.
In Canada, a Diploma is usually awarded by a college of applied arts and technology (a.k.a. community college in the US) upon successful completion of a two-year or three-year program. The Canadian two-year Diploma is usually considered equivalent to an American two-year Associate Degree. The Canadian three-year Diploma is somewhere in between an American Associate and Bachelor degree, closer to the Bachelor degree (some would say even equivalent) in core content. Some universities awards Diplomas for sub-degree programs. these Diplomas are usually two or three years in lenth and at the same level as an undergraduate program. ABET considers Canadian three-year Diplomas in Engineering Technology to be equivalent in content to American four-year BS Degrees in Engineering Techbology for professional registration.
