    Hi There:)

I'm a South African student who is finishing her undergraduate Bachelors in Humanities, majoring in English, at the end of 2016 (our academic starts and ends in January and November, respectively).

Please can someone give me advice regarding a MFA in creative writing that will be accessible to me while in still completing my final undergrad year. I doubt this is possible, but I want to achieve as much as I can in 2016.

If any of you can give me advice regarding the best MFAs in Creative Writing out there; that would also be greatly appreciated.

Totsiens ;) -(means 'goodbye' in Afrikaans)

There has been a lot of talk on this board about MFA Creative Writing programs and so a search of the archives will yield some interesting information. While you may not be allowed to enroll in the degree program without having first finished your degree, you might be able to sign yourself into a course of two. Also, most of the programs discussed are US programs and so it's clear that if your broaden your search to include other countries you will find many other alternatives. I recommend England and Australia especially. Finally, because you're coming from South Africa, you'll be unhappy with the prices. Be prepared. These two threads will get you started:
