Does anyone know of where I could study Scandinavian studies or Danish at a distance?
I am really struggling to find somewhere that offers a BA, at a distance, in either of these courses.

    Thank you!

Wow, that's a tough one. I would just try contacting universities in Denmark directly and asking what they offer.

Neuhaus Opinion: Over-specialized bachelors degrees are dumb

Seriously, if you are really into Scandinavian Studies, you can be pretty open with your BA. You can bank credits from programs like the one Kizmet found and flip them to TESC or Excelsior and get a degree in Liberal Studies or Humanities. Want to really delve into Scandinavian studies? Find a graduate program that allows you to specialize. Best of all this allows you to have the best of both worlds (i.e. the specialized coursework that Berkeley offers) coupled with GenEds from wherever you can find them cheaply.

That said, Steve's suggestion is pretty solid too.

But here is something else to consider, this schooloffers an online minor in Ethnic studies that may have some Scandinavian courses (since they have a Scandinavian Program on campus)
