I'm wondering if it's possible to apply for a Masters in EE using an EET degree even after making up the required courses (Physics and Math). A friend of mine is at a cross roads. His started with an EET program but his thinking of switching to an EE program because he wants to do a Masters in EE in the future and his not sure if an EET will be accepted. His emailed some schools about it and they all want to see his complete set of coursework, which is pretty lame since his not even graduated yet and they couldn't give a fix answer. One concern he has is, course prefix for his program shows EET while an EE program would show EE. Would that matter for admissions into graduate school ? :dunno:
Of course it's possible. Your friend's chances will be enhanced by 1) excellent GPA, 2) excellence in those make-up courses and 3) relevant work experience.
