I was really hoping "FUNiX" was short for something.

 

FUNiX, it stands for "Have FUN in eXplaining our name to prospective employers."

 

First of all, I think you owe me a new monitor. Despite wiping it off it still has speckles of latte. So, thanks for that.

But my first thought when I saw the name was that it sounded like some sort of subscription service that ends in a "micro-MBA" or a "mini-Masters" or some such nonsense.

If you're only earning a diploma or certificate there I suppose it might just blend into a sea of stupid sounding providers that some people clutter their resumes with. In that sense I'd look at the "University" as being like Trump "University" or Prager "University."

Sorry about your monitor :ugh: I agree with you completely. I have seen my share of diplomas and certificates from some, to put it gently, places with "unique" names.

Isn't that Columbia Southern University have landed in Vietnam? Doesn't it consider the first Online University in Vietnam?
